We went to breakfast in Kingman, and afterwards we stopped in at The Powerhouse, which held a museum of the Historic Route 66. I guess we should have picked up on the level of suspension in the museum, when we met a sleeping ticket salesman at the entrance 😉 Well, maybe he was just tired, after all he was an older man, maybe more than 80 years old. Anyways, we woke him up gently, and purchased two tickets to see the exhibition.
The story of the Historic Route 66, started with the settlers moving across the plains by train or horse and carriage, and took us all the way up to the time when I-40 took over as the main route.
After going to the museum, we hopped in the car and headed towards California.
It was a long drive, and when we arrived in L.A., we were tired and just spend the rest of the night in the Hotel.
